 William "Bill" H. Sherwen died peacefully at home on Monday, January 12, 2015. He was 90. Born in Newark, NJ, on August 13, 1924, to the late James and Frances Sherwen, Bill was a long-time resident of Spotswood. He was a proud Army veteran, serving three campaigns as Corporal in the 9th Infantry Division in WWII, where he received many commendations, including the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Bill was well known and respected in the banking community, where he worked for over 45 years, retiring as Senior Vice President of Brunswick Bank and Trust in New Brunswick in 1990. William "Bill" H.
