Omaha Beach - site of Normandy American Cemetery

Omaha directions (from cemetery web site): 
A-13 to Caen, then Highway N-13 
through Bayeux to Formigny, then following D-517 to
St. Laurent-sur-Mer and D-514 to Colleville-sur-Mer.
A large stone directional sign designates the cemetery entrance.

D-Day Beaches (directions by Frommer)
West E46 from Caen to Bayeux
From Bayeux North on D6 to Port en-Bessin
D514 runs along coast. Most D-Day beaches are West
Numerous free parking spots along the way
Arromanches les Baines - wreckage of Mulberry, artifical port
known as Winston called "la plage du debarquement"
