===== Bird House Pole Dimensions =====
The pole is 8 feet long, 1 5/8 inches diameter. In Home Depot fence department it is called a Line pole. The top of the pole is 63 inches above ground. The threaded rod is inserted 44 inches above ground. I use an 8 inch stove pipe suspended from the 1/4 inch threaded rod. The top opening of the stove pipe is covered with a hardware cloth cut to fit the stove pipe.\\
To install, dig a hole 24 inches deep. Put the pipe in the hole and pound it in until 63 inches is visible above ground. Fill the hole in.
