**Battery**\\
The battery compartment has room for a car battery 6.5" width max.  The length can be anything,there is quite a bit of room. The current battery specs:

  * Purchased: Feb 2015
  * CCA: 625
  * Amps: 525

**Charger**\\
The model is a Battery Tender plus with 2 lights.  The red led indicates charging, the green indicates fully charged when lit.  Blinking green indicates a charge level of 80 to 100%.
