DUNELLEN — Barbara A. Schaefer, 60, who was born and resided all
her life in Dunellen, died Sunday (Jan. 20, 2008) at home.

She graduated from Newark Beth Israel Nursing School and worked
as a nurse at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville for 30
years.

Barbara was also a communicant of St. John's Church in Dunellen.

She was predeceased by her parents, Metro and Pauline Petroski,
and her twin brother, the late Raymond, and another brother, the
late Frank Petroski.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne and his fiancee, Sharon
Damasiewicz of Hillsborough and Scott and his wife, Jennifer, of
Milford; a sister-in-law, Chris Petroski of Dunellen; and two
grandchildren, Abigail and Avery.

There will be a Mass of Christian burial 9 a.m. Friday at St.
John's Church, Dunellen. Interment will take place in Holy
Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visiting hours will be 2 to
4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Sheenan Funeral Home, 233
Dunellen Ave., Dunellen.
