===== Ryan Raymer ===== Ryan Raymer was killed in a single car auto accident early Sunday morning. In an instant he was removed from this world and transformed in the spirit to join his late brother Carson in the presence of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He leaves behind his son, Kaden, parents David and Sharon, his older brother Chris and younger brother David and wife Lauren and children.\\ Ryan was deeply spiritual, fiercely loyal, a defender of his faith, a poet, a musician, chef, author and philosopher. He was a member of the Raleigh Boychoir, Apex Baptist Church choirs and musical performances, Apex Middle School show choir, and numerous bands that brought his family and community hours of entertainment and joy. He was a graduate of UNC Wilmington, UNC and Panthers fan, and loved watching his brother David play baseball for LSU. But he was also plagued by depression and other psychological disorders that made it increasingly difficult for him. Looking back, we saw the signs of this, but figured it was Ryan being himself. Our regret is that we didn't address it and seek counsel earlier. Would've, could've, should've. Our comfort is that now he's at peace.\\ The family will receive friends at Apex Funeral Home on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, December 2, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Apex Funeral Home with a private graveside service to follow.\\ In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ryan's name may be made to Destination Church at thedestination.org.\\ {{:obit:20161129_154950435_0_orig.jpg?300|}}
