If you use the OOMA like the manual says to hook it up, you can only get phone service on the one telephone in the house with a Scout device. Tha manual says to hook the hub “Wall” jack to the house wiring. Now a Scout attached to the house wiring will work and it's attached telephone will work but no other phone in the house will work.
From Amazon, a reviewer of the Scout said to reverse the connections. Hook the house wiring up to the Hub “Phone” output jack. Using a splitter, hook the hub “Wall” jack to Line 2. After you have done this, use another splitter at the Scout device. Retrieve the Line 2 signals via the splitter and route them to the Scout device. The telephone will use the normal Line 1 connection.
