Casio fx-7000G
The Casio fx-7000G is the world's first graphing calculator. I bought this calculator from a 200 DM money gift I got from my uncle at Christmas 1985. I still can remember that gift because as a small boy, I never had so much money at my disposal before. This calculator is very precious to me, so it is still in a very good state considering its age, and is fully functional.
Configuration
- Built: April 1985 (manufacturing code
5D311A
) - Display: LCD, 96 x 64 pixels, graphics
Known Issues
- The display has some minor delamination streaks from old age (the process is called "vinegar syndrome"). The defect is a cosmetical issue, and does not affect the pixel presentation at all. However it's not reversible and tends to become worse over time.
Restauration Works
- Cleaned the case and keys.
