Sinclair Interface 1

The Interface 1 is an essential expansion of the ZX Spectrum if you want to do more with it than playing games. Besides a serial interface, it offers networking with other Interface 1 and the connection of a Sinclair Microdrive (a proprietary endless tape that can be accessed on a file base). In my active ZX Spectrum time, I wasn't really aware of the existence of this expansion.

I bought this interface (and a second one) in a bundle of Sinclair hardware in February 2022. It has been recapped, but is still untested as of yet.
