probes

Cut some copper tubing to make some probes for the microwave. Market is doing a little better today although it's a pretty glum rainy day outside. Talked to Arlene today about the insurance policies that Aunt Helen has. Still don't know if they are viable. Made a grocery run today to both Krogers and Trader Joes. It's a pretty lackadaisical day. Dinner tonight was pasta from trader Joe's. After dinner I finished the microwave probe - soldered the chip to the wire, applied some thermal grease and put the heat shrink on, The heat gun does a nice job shrinking the tubing, way better than how I used to do it with a soldering iron or flame. It seems to be a worthwhile purchase.
