Saw on TV that the Southwest airfare sale ends Aug 24. Got online and bought our tickets for the Jan 1 Rose Bowl trip. We will leave Dec 24 and get home Jan 4. Price was right around $1,000 round trip for us both. Dinner tonight was a Kroger rotisserie chicken with potato salad and baked beans (from a can).
