Did a trip to North Sarasota at noon. Walked through Selby, lots of maintenance projects underway which is good. They replaced large sections of sidewalk and did some pruning in the tropical house. On the way back stopped in at Michaels, Publix and Hobby Lobby. Found my materials for diamonds in the Hobby Lobby. The costume party is this Thursday, theme of Diamonds are Forever. I played with some dowels in the condo and came up with a technique to use the tubing to hold the dowels into diamond shapes. Using twisty ties I fastened the LED strips to the diamonds. Tried lighting it up and it looks good. This is half the LEDs so far. At 5:30 I went to the pool party. Met some of the residents of the other buildings. I brought a plate of cheese and triscuits and a glass of Rodney Strong for myself. The horsedeouvers that others brought were amazing. Christa brought a sheet cake from Publix which was made to her specifications. Nice strawberry filling in a yellow cake with white icing. Dinner was the party food, did not have anything else except some of the pineapple I bought at Publix.
