We got up at 6:30 this morning and gathered our last minute stuff. At around 7 i called for an Uber outside the Blake. Yusaf was on Podyrus and came with a Dodge MiniVan in less than 1 minute. The price to the airport was now $53 compared to $33 last week. Mardi Gras is tomorrow which is probably why the rate is higher. Traffic was heavy but our driver went up and around on 610 instead of I-10 which was faster. We did 18 miles in 24 minutes. Check-in and TSA was no problem, we both are TSA Pre so we sailed through the line. We had breakfast at PJs Bistro which is associated with PJs Coffee. This was pretty good food. They were cooking real food right there. I had scrambled eggs and delicious crisp bacon on a bagel which came with hash browns. The coffee also was excellent. This is good airport food. Our flight was a quick one hour and 8 minutes then we walked to the long term parking garage and retrieved our car. the bill was $108 which wasn't outrageous. We got to the condo around noon and talked about how we can get a Bloody Mary. We ended up going to the clubhouse and having Quesadillas with Bloody Marys. They were not as good as a New Orleans style but they served the purpose. I spent the rest of the evening studying Clarinet buying advice and some clarinet basics on YouTube. The only dinner was some cheese and crackers.
