Traviata and Clarinet lessons
Saturday, March 11, 2017, 06:00 PM
Practiced with my Clarinet this morning then we had to leave at 11:30 for downtown. We went up Beneva, West on Fruitville to the back of the parking garage for the Hollywood 20. The performance of Traviata was outstanding. I loved every minute of this opera with many recognizable hit tunes. We got out of the parking garage and onto Main Street by 4 PM then back to Beneva and home. Ian came at 6:30 for my last Clarinet lesson with him. We covered some more keys on the Clarinet plus some 1/8 notes which are used in the William Tell Overture which we both played as my last song. We offered dinner to Ian at the Clubhouse which he accepted. I had a Cabernet and the plank Salmon which came with Hollandaise sauce and veggies. It was lick your plate excellent. Ian has been a good start for my Clarinet non-career.
