Skiff Tour

I got up early and after a shower and shave went to the lounge
at 6:30 AM where I had a cold toast sandwich with egg and
sausage, fruit and a muffin and coffee while I read my book.
Later in the morning after a safety talk about the skiffs and
other water vessels we went down to a brunch which was a ham
sandwich wrap with bacon and optionally eggs, etc. It was a
very nice brunch. After lunch we took our skiff tour with
Heather as our driver at 2:20 PM. As a bonus our Ornithologist
Karen came along with us. We saw Frigates, Boobies, pelicans and
other birds. Karen was helpful in supplying trivia about the
bird species. Once we got back we heard about tormoorows
activities. Libbie and i had a couple of rum punches
accompanied by totilla chips, plantain chips and a delicious
salsa. Libbie had the guac which was freshly made and
outstanding. For dinner tonight we had Snapper in a peach
ginger with potatoes and accompanied by a glass of Cabernet. We
had the chocolate Biscotti in a creme de cafe sauce which capped
the meal off wonderfully. After dinner we got an excellent
overview of the national parks of Panama and Costa Rica that we
are going to visit. The presenter was a Costa Rican woman who did an
outstanding job selling her country.
