web stuff

Started the morning with a contact lens in my eye that seems to be behind the eye. i put another contact in to see but the eye seemed to get worse during the day. I switched to glasses for the rest of the day.
I struggled with the vintage violets. Can't get fields to display from the webforms entries. I also struggled with getting a clone site running so I could play with some PHP stuff to access the website. This too ended in failure.
Finally my last struggle was a success. I transferred the TNG genealogy site over to the new server at glembocki.info. After setting up the MySQL, assigning a User and changing the paths in the settings entry of TNG it all came to life again. Thank goodness for that. I would like to see this become more portable than it is. I like the idea of using PHP for the genealogy. Hopefully my PHP hacking skills will also assist me in implementing a smooth solution for the membership functions on Drupal. After lunch we drove to Pittsboro because the Lowes there was supposed to have eclipse glasses. They didn't but I bought a rescue Oleander. When we got back I moved the ladder to the front of the house. It previously was outside the sewing room window waiting for me to re-screen the window which I did do today and replaced the screen. From the ladder I cleaned the bedroom windows, knocked down the spider webs and washed the screens. This was for both windows. I chose to delay the Oleander planting until tomorrow since I was tired. I continued looking at the webform to content problem once we came back inside. Libbie made her delicious pizza today and used the scraps of tomatoes from our lunches. It was delicious as usual. I had a Killians Irish Red beer as well. My eye is not doing well at all. I think it is abraded and the contact is still in there somewhere. Cloudy milky fluid is leaking out of my eye. I hope the damage isn't too serious.
