i ripped up the flooring plywood sheets where i want to level the floor in the Office. This was a hard job - Ii couldn't get the particle board up under the baseboard so i carefully removed the base and the finished removing the sheets. After lunch Libbie helped me take the trailer to home Depot and pick up new sheets of plywood. I have a concern that the new sheets are 1/32 less thick than the sheets they replace. Hopefully this is not much of a difference. The plywood was of pretty good quality. After reading the reviews online of plywood missing ply in the layers I was concerned that if a ply layer is missing then the floor would be squishy in that area. We examined the 4 ply sheets that the Apex Home Depot had on the stack and they looked great. We didn't see any missing layers in any of the sheets. The plywood rode home nicely on the trailer using the leveling boards I made a few years ago. The plywood lays horizontally using the leveling gizmos and doesn't appear to have any issues with lifting or shifting in the wind at 55 MPH. Dinner tonight was spaghetti with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on. |
