 This was our first time in the new Dallas Opera House. Wow, what a spectacular building. It's pretty opulent and nicely landscaped considering it's a downtown building. We went to the 6:30 pre performance discussion which was worth it. I learned a few things about the personality of Lucia and how she was tormented and on the edge.  The Opera was well done. It's a good orchestra, great costuming in conjunction with the staging. They have very very good singers, especially Lucia.
