Loge
Loge is an AVR controller with one wire temperature sensor that will select the appropriate furnace for heat load balancing.
The following graph shows the heat required at different outside temperatures.
A small aux furnace, 125,000 BTU will be labeled H2. The normal furnace is H1. This graph indicates which algorithm is required to maximize matching the load to the furnace:
Temperature | Heater | BTU required | BTU Avail |
50 | H2.5 | 65K | 62.5K |
46 | H2 | 70K | 125K |
40 | H2 | 106K | 125K |
35 | H2 | 128K | 125K |
30 | H1 | 149K | 180K |
25 | H1 | 170K | 180K |
20 | H1&H2.5 | 190K | 242K |
10 | H1&H2 | 234K | 242K |
