About this Wiki
This Wiki uses Dokuwiki on any server with PHP. No database required, all files are plain text.
The scans are originally stored in “Toms Data” on an archive drive in the “Life Bits” directory of the desktop with scanner attached. These are then transferred to the “Life Bits” archive on Traviata under Users→Tom Gee→Life Bits. From there the Wiki software is used to create pages and extract needed files for it's own directory storage. The Wiki itself is under the directory “Dokuwiki” on the server and the image files there are under
Uniform Server→udrive→www→dokuwiki→data→media.
note: Uniform Server→udrive→www is the web serving directory of the Apache server running on Traviata. It also shows up on Win2k3 as local drive “W”.
To backup or synchronize the wiki, the only directory needed is “data” under “dokuwiki”, i.e. on Traviata it is Uniform Server→udrive→www→dokuwiki→data.
The dokuwiki software was updated Sunday April 4 with awiki that now allows multiple file uploads when uploading images.
