Bio Filter
I made a bio filter after watching some YouTube videos.
The media directions were found online:
The substrate is actually 200 ft of polyethylene 3/8 twisted? rope(from Lowes)
cut it to 1-1/2 ft. lengths and unraveled to make the bio material. Much like
the bio string you can buy for big bucks but this is way cheaper and works great with
lots of surface area.
