Tom's Life Bits

For tomato plants use 2 cups dolomite lime per box worked into the top 3 or 4 inches. Do this at the start of each season. For vegetables and flowers only 1 cup per box is needed. Must use dolomite granular, not the powdered stuff.

A strip down the middle consisting of 2 cups of a general purpose fertilizer such as 5-10-5. Must be the granules, not the slow release and not the water soluble such as Miracle Grow. Use just an ordinary granular garden fertilizer. Do this once at the beginning of each growing season.
