Tom's Life Bits

I absolutely loved this old warhorse. The singing of Olga and the new Aida, Ludmilla Monastraya froom the Ukraine was powerful combined with the Met Orchestra playing all that famous Verdi music. You can't go wrong. Libbie was just coming off gallbladder surgery but she made it through all right and only had to leave once during the performance during Act 2.
