Tom's Life Bits

Renee Fleming did a most enjoyable job in this very long opera. I loved Act 2 which was a ballet. The whole thing was nicely staged without high tech shit. They turned the world from a garden and flowers to evil with lights and dark costumes. There was a red cupid with bow and arrow who I later found out was Ude Teele. She was great in this non speaking role.
