Tom's Life Bits

This was a new opera to me. It was set in the 50s but was respectful of the composer. I liked it, Verdi wrote it as a comedy and it was played pretty campy which was a lot of fun. The cast was superb as I've come to expect of Met Opera. It was pourin rain outside and I was a little worried that we would lose the signal but all was OK. We had to make a run for it outside the theater to get the car without getting too wet.
