Marriage of Figaro
Loved this updated performance set in the 1930s. The director didn't screw it up by changing the date. This is a happy, lively opera with lots of quartets, quintets, septets as only Mozart could do. The theater was freezing cold for the first half but got better after the intermission. It's a nice 72 degree day out. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
A highlight for us was seeing Amanda as the Countess since she was a standin who made her debut on opening night.
