Tom's Life Bits

This was a fun little play I didn't feel like going to. It was a cute “who done it?” with twists and turns at every scene. A writer and his wife supposedly murder a rival writer and drag his body into the garden. Later in the scene the guy arrives with a bat and starts beating everyone. The wife has a heart attack and dies. Later the writer appears to shoot the young rival writer with a pistol but the rival put blanks in the gun and handcuffs the writer. He escapes the cuffs in the chair and shoots the young rival with a crossbow. But wait, there's more. The crossbow guy suddenly comes alive and pulls the arrow out and uses it to stab the writer. And on it goes. It was part comedy, part thriller. I'm not into this kind of play.
