I Lombardi alla prima crociata (The Lombards on the First Crusade)
What a musical treat. This opera has large soaring choruses, Verdi music, duets, trios, quartets and more. There were 11 scene changes which was remarkable for a company like Sarasota Opera. We were totally immersed in the rich music accompanied by large choruses.
