Tom's Life Bits

We had a weekend trip to NYC that was suggested by Libbie. We stayed at the Marriott Marquis on Times Square beginning the night of Feb 25, 2015. Took the Amtrak out of Cary. We had a roomette which we don't think we would do again. A business class coach seat is more than adequate. The train was supposed to leave at 8:15 AM but was an hour late. We arrived at Penn Station NY on time then took a cab ride up 8th Ave to 46th St for the Marriott. Cab cost was $15 in very very slow traffic at 8 PM.
