Sunday morning at 11 am we enjoyed this wonderful ballet by the Bolshoi from their temporary home while the old theater is refurbished. Gorgeous multilingual narrator Katarina Novikova treated us with her fashionable mauve gown and beautiful body. With an incredibly beautiful smile she fluently spoke in French and English for the ballet and served as translator for the Russian artists she interviewed.
The story is based on the Hunchback of Notre Dame. The Bolshoi is a huge company and it shows with their cast of hundreds of dancers on stage. This was a ballet I would not mind seeing again. It was that good.
