Tom's Life Bits

A wonderful evening. Balanchine Emeralds are always stunning. The green stage and green costumes were beautiful. The graceful Balanchine lines were flowing. The second act was a darker ballet of a cruel mother and her daughters. A lone male appears to have a relationship with the sisters. The ending is stunning when the curtain is pulled and one of the girls hangs herself. The evening ended with a colorful Balanchine ballet set to lively Gershwin music. Costuming was very colorful and easily my favorite of the night.
